Electronic assembly technician
Rugged Monitoring is a leader in the design and manufacture of a wide range of rugged fiber optic sensors and monitoring solutions for various applications in harsh environments. Our customizable, state-of-the-art systems are sold worldwide and widely used in industry by leaders such as Siemens, ABB and Maschinenfabrik Reinhausen (MR).
We are currently looking for an electronic assembly technician to join our production team based in Quebec City. If you have experience in electronics, electromechanics, small appliance assembly or if you want to learn, apply now!
Responsibilities
- Manual assembly of various components and products;
- Preparation, assembly, testing and start-up of various acquisition systems
- Use of in-house software to start up the systems;
- Participate in the design and improvement of various products;
- Contribute to the optimization of production activities.
Essential Skills and Knowledge
- Concern for quality, structured and orderly;
- Very good manual dexterity, excellent vision and attention to detail;
- Experience in the manufacturing field is an asset;
- Basic knowledge of electronics or electromechanics or strong interest.
