R&D Sales Coordinator

Rugged Monitoring is a leader in the design and manufacture of a wide range of rugged fiber optic sensors and monitoring solutions for various applications in harsh environments. Our customizable, state-of-the-art systems are sold worldwide and widely used in industry by leaders such as Siemens, ABB and Maschinenfabrik Reinhausen (MR).

Our sales team is currently looking for a sales coordinator with a technical profile to handle incoming requests from our customers in the field of R&D. This position, in collaboration with the Executive Vice President, is useful to support the constant growth in demand. You will have the opportunity to develop your knowledge of fiber optic temperature measurement devices to help us maintain the exceptional service that our customers have come to expect.

The work is done from the Quebec office, in French and in English. Occasional teleworking can be discussed. If you want to participate in the achievement of our customers' objectives in research and development, apply now!

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming customer calls;
• Build rapport with clients using your communication skills;
• Understand customer needs and identify sales opportunities;
• Master the technical specifications of products and give the required explanations to customers;
• Provide support to colleagues regarding company products and services;
• Prepare quotes for your clients and follow up;
• Keep informed of information and updates on products and services;
• Participate in the drafting of calls for tenders.

Essential Skills and Knowledge

• Minimum of 2 years experience in B2B sales;
• Knowledge of industrial, electrical and fiber optic fields;
• Have a passion for excellent customer service;
• Be organized and result oriented;
• Be curious, enjoy challenges and know how to adapt;
• High-quality ethics and communication;
• Bilingual French and English.
